Rules for Shop Owners:
1. You must be a rank 3 or higher Graphics Artist under the Basic Rating System for Graphics Artists to have a banner shop. A member at rank 3 must appeal to the Graphics Rating Panel for approval, while a rank 4 or above may simply create a shop without permission. Generally, a rank 3 is told upon receiving that rank whether or not they are allowed to have a shop. As per the requirements of being a rank 3 or above, you may not use Paint to create merchandise.
2. While post counts don't increase in the Bazaar, general chat is still not allowed. Banner shops are for getting your stuff, then getting out. Do so.
3. Depending on your rating level, you may not charge more than a certain amount of forum points.
Limits
Rank 3: Banners – 1,000 Points MAX, Avatars – 450 Points MAX
Rank 4: Banners – 1,500 Points MAX, Avatars – 750 Points MAX
Rank 5: Banners – 2,000 Points MAX, Avatars – 1,000 Points MAX
Rank 6: Banners – 3,000 Points MAX, Avatars – 2,000 Points MAX
There are no limits for any add-ons or combinations. If prices get ridiculous and out of control, this rule will be amended with price caps for everything.
4. You must have examples.
5. You must provide basic shop guidelines. If you are feeling unoriginal, you may copy some basic shop guidelines provided at the end of this post.
6. You may only have one shop.
7. You MUST specify what program(s) you use.
8. If someone receives a banner and refuses to pay, shop owners should first try and deal with the member privately. If they do not comply, contact an administrator and they will see that funds are transferred accordingly with 10% interest, as incentive to not waste our time in the future.
9. Unless the owner has said otherwise, banners that are provided as examples are not for sale. Requests of this type will be deleted without notification.
10. If you want your banner shop emptied of all posts (post counts don't increase or decrease in this forum), PM a mod or admin, and ask them to do it.
If you have any further questions, feel free to send a message to myself.
Good luck with your shop!
